Kekkaishi è un manga di Yellow Tanabe (田辺イエロウ Tanabe Ierō), ho visto solo i primi cinque episodi, mi ha colpito la simpatia del protagonista.
La storia molto semplice parla di due ragazzi, Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, destinati per discendenza a proteggere un luogo di straordinario potere sepolto sotto un' attuale scuola (ovviamente giapponese!).
Usano delle tecniche chiamate Kekkai per formare barriere magiche per catturare e distruggere
Ayakashi (mostri/demoni). Questi in contatto con la sorgente assorbono parte del potere diventando pericolosi.

Particolarmente mi piace la sigla finale con chitarra classica:

In internet I have incountred this transduction of Aka Ito 赤い糸
It is said in the Japanese folklore that when a man and a woman marry, they are destined from the time of their birth as evidenced by an invisible "akai ito (red thread)" which tie them together. This concept of predestination is something that probably had been derived from the Buddhistic philosophy, teaching the concept of predestinaiton and reincarnation, I am not sure. However, "akai ito" lore retains its fanciful attractiveness among the Japanese people even to this date.
